GrafoTherm Milieu

GrafoTherm Milieu, also called KefaTherm, is a Condensation Protection specially designed for industrial application. GrafoTherm Milieu (KefaTherm) can only be applied by use of a pneumatic spray equipment and the drying/curing process requires forced drying in an oven. The drying time is only 3 - 5 minutes.

Contrary to other anti-condensation methods, GrafoTherm Milieu (KefaTherm) is not a drainage system. GrafoTherm Milieu (KefaTherm) absorbs condensation water in its micro-pores, spreads the water in the micro-pore matrix, breaks the surface tension of the water and evaporates it rapidly back into the ambient air.

Therefore no roof slope is necessary. GrafoTherm Milieu (KefaTherm) can be used on flat roofs

GrafoTherm Milieu (KefaTherm) has many conclusive advantages:

• No roof slope is needed
• Damages at the job site can be easily repaired
• GrafoTherm Milieu (KefaTherm) can be applied in various coat thicknesses, and thus adapted to the condensation situation of the building
• A-2 and B-1 Fire Classification
• GrafoTherm Milieu (KefaTherm) will not cause any problem in the recyling process of the construction material
• GrafoTherm Milieu (KefaTherm) is resistant to mould growth

In co-operation with equipment manufacturers, KEFA has designed a specialized line for industrial application on profiled roof and facade sheets. The most advanced lines consist of a loading unit, a spray cabin, an oven and a un-loading/packageing unit.

There are several roofing manufacturers who can supply roofing with GrafoTherm Milieu (KefaTherm) condensation protection from their own production lines.
