The function of BioRid is as simple as ingenious
The basic function of BioRid is to eliminate the water. Without water, there is no life. Consequently BioRid is effective against all kinds of organisms: mould, aglae, moss, lichen - without water they cannot exist.
BioRid is a micro-porous material that creates a gigantic surface in which condensation water spreads and quickly evaporates without greater energy requirerment. So it is a physical process, not chemicals that provide the mould free surface.

GrafoTherm Exterior is built up of millions of micro-pores.
Rain water will be arrested in the micro-pores and ejected back into the air when the rain is over. Condensation water from the inside of the building will be absorbed by the micro-pores, transported to the surface and rapidly ejected into the outdoor air.
The fast evaporation from GrafoTherm Exterior makes the surface dry most of the time, the only long-lasting means to avoid mould and algae growth.
You also avoid peeling off paint and frost cracks caused by moisture in the construction. GrafoTherm Exterior has the capability of drying out the substrate, thus minimising the risk of damages.

GrafoTherm - simple and ingenious
Simple and effective for un-insulated roofs, water tanks, boats, ventilation ductworks....
GrafoTherm absorbs water condensation and stores it until the ambient conditions allow it to evaporate. The micro-porous surface makes water evaporate two to three times faster than from a traditional paint or an un-coated surface. The coating is now dry and ready for next condensation period and it works forever.
Due to the capillary forces of the micro-pores, a GrafoTherm coated roof does not requiere a certain slope to function.
GrafoTherm has an A-2 and a B-1 Fire Classification.
GrafoTherm Milieu
For industrial on line application we have developed GrafoTherm Milieu, also called KefaTherm. This coating requires drying in oven, and has a drying time of 3 - 5 minutes.
KefaAkustik - Noise damping with condensation control
For use on metal decking, metal facades, ventilation ducts and other surfaces with vibration noise problem. These surfaces often have condensation problem that KefaAkustik will also take care of.
KefaAkustik requires a coat thickness of only 1,2 - 2,0 mm, a great advantage when space is a problem.
KefaAkustik can be applied industrially and on site.
